Heat of vaporization formula is H_{v(j/g)} in joule per gram is equal to the product of heat q_{(j)} in joule and divided by the mass of the substance m_{(kg) } in kilogram. Hence the Heat vaporization formula can be written as,

Where,

H_{v} → vaporization heat in j/g

m→ mass of the substance in kg or g

q→ heat in j
