Force acting on a body F(N) in Newton is equal to the product of the Mass of the object m(kg) in kilogram is multibly by the acceleration a(m/s2) in meter per second square. Hence the Newtons second law calculator formula has been written as,

F(N) = m(kg) * a(m/s2)

a = ( VF – Vi) / ∆t

Here ,

F → force acting on a body in N

A→ acceleration In (m/s2)

VF→ final velocity of the object

Vi → initial velocity of the object

∆t→ time difference.

Example 1 :

Calculate the net force required to accelerate the object? In a 2 kg object accelerated at a constant 6m/sec2 .

Solution :

Mass of the object m =  2 kg

Acceleration  a = 6m/sec2

As per Newtons second  law of motion ,

F = m * a

F = ( 2 kg ) * (6m/sec2)

F = 12 Newton.

Example 2 :

Calculate the net force required to accelerate the object? In a 3 kg object accelerated at a constant 7m/sec2 .

Solution :

Mass of the object m =  3 kg

Acceleration  a = 7 m/sec2

As per Newtons second  law of motion ,

F = m * a

F = ( 3 kg ) * (7 m/sec2)

F = 21 Newton.
