Hydraulic Radius:

Hydraulic Radius of full pipe R(cm) in centimeter is equal to the area A(cm) in centimeter and divided by the wetted perimeter of full pipe p(Cm) in centimeter is equal to the pi value π in3.14 and multiply the  square of radius r2(m) in meter and divided by the two pi 2π and multiply the radius r(m) in meter is equal to the radius r(m) in meter and divided by the two.Hence the Hydraulic Radius can be written as

Hydraulic radius of full pipe in centimeter R(cm)=A(cm)/p(Cm)=π*r2(m)/2π*r(m)=r(m)/2

The wetted perimeter of full pipe is p=2*π*r

Hydraulic radius of full pipe R=A/p=π*r2/2π*r=r/2

Pipe(less than half)

Wetted perimeter p=r*θ and θ=2* arcos [(r-h)/r]

Area A=r2*(θ- sin θ)/2

Hydraulic Radius R=A/p=[r2*(θ-sinθ)/2]/[r*θ and θ=2* arcos [(r-h)/r]]=[r2* sin (θ))/2](r-θ)

Triangular Channel:

Area A=B*y/2=y2 * Z

Watted perimeter p=2*Y*√ (1+Z2)

Hydraulic Radius R=A/p=Yz/[2*√ 1+z2)]

Rectangular Channel:

Area A=b*y

Wetted perimeter p= b + y + y = b + 2 y

Hydraulic radius R= A/p = (by) / (b + 2 y)

Trapezoid Channel:

Area A=y*(B+b)/2,B=b+2zy

Wetted perimeter p=b+2*y*√ (1+z2)

Hydraulic Radius R=A/p=(by+y2*Z)/[b+2*y*√ (1+z)2]
