Capacitor Calculator, formula, Calculation with Example

Capacitor Calculator :

Enter the  Capacitance (C) in picofarads(pF), Voltage (V) in volts(V), and you get the Stored charge (Q) in nC.

Capacitor Formula :

Capacitor formula is C(f) in farad is equal to  the Electric charge Q(c) in coulomb and divided by the voltage V(v)  in volts. Hence the capacitor formula can be written as

C(f) = Q(c) / V(v)

Where c is the capacitance of Electronic Element in farad,

Q= Electric charge stored in the capacitor in coulomb

V= voltage in the  capacitor in volts

Example:1

Calculate the capacitance of electronic charge? In aelectric charge 50 c and voltage 20 v.

Answer:

Electric charge =50 coulomb

Voltage =20v

By using formula

C(f) = Q(c) / V(v)

c= 50 /20

c=2.5 farad

Example:2

Calculate the capacitance of electronic charge? In a electric charge 90 c and voltage 15  v.

Answer:

Electric charge = 90coulomb

Voltage =15 v

By using formula

C(f) = Q(c) / V(v)

c= 90 / 15

c=6  farad
