### Polarization by Reflection :

Polarization by reflection αB_{(d)} in degree is equal to the product of the arc tan and multiply the reflective index n_{2(r)} in radian and divided by the refractive index n_{1(r)} in radian. Hence the polarization by reflection of Brewster’s angle formula can be written as

αB_{(d)}=arc tan (n_{2(r)} /n_{1(r)})

The formula to find the refractive index 2 in n_{2}=n_{1} * tan (αB)

The formula for refractive index 1 is n_{1}= n_{2}/ tan (αB)

Given that;

Refraction index (n_{1})=2.45

Refractive index n_{2}=1.5

Brewster angle formual is αB=arc tan (n_{2} /n_{1})

αB=arc tan (1.5 /2.45)

αB=31.476 degree

Therefore the Brewster angle 31.476 degree

Calculate the Brewster angle of light that travels from water (n=3.65) into the air?

Given that;

Refraction index (n_{1})=3.65

Refractive index n_{2}=2.5

Brewster angle formual is αB=arc tan (n_{2} /n_{1})

αB=arc tan (2.5 /3.65)

αB=34.408 degree

Therefore the Brewster angle 31.476 degree
